Leh – Lamayuru – Uleytoko – Pangong Lake – Nubra Valley – Leh

Itinerary Highlights

Day 01 : Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Leh Airport in Ladakh India a our représentative will greet and transfer you to the hotel. Wash, change and relax. Have complete rest for full day for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 35 00 mtrs). overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 : Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel you’ll be taken for local sightseeing tour of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh, India. Major attractions you’ll visit today include Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. On time return back to the hotel. Have dinner and restful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Leh – Lamayuru – Uleytoko

Have breakfast at the hotel. Get driven to Indus Valley on a journey of the Lamayuru Circuit. Visit the famous Lamayuru Monastery and savor in adjoining “Moonland” features. After having hot lunch at Lamayuru, proceed to Uleytoko and check-in at a fixed camp or resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 : Uleytoko – Leh

After breakfast at the hotel get driven back towards Leh en route visiting the famous 11th century Alchi Monastery / Choskor, the oldest monastic heritage of Ladakh – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later visit the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar Rivers, Magnetic Point, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, & Hall of Fame. On time return to hotel for dinner and restful overnight stay.

Day 05 : Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh

After breakfast at the hotel get ready for a full day excursion trip to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), en route crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). Enjoy sightseeing around the lake and then drive back to Leh in the late afternoon / early evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : Leh

After breakfast at the hotel get ready for local sightseeing tour of Leh visiting Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa and Leh Palace. Explore local Leh Bazaars in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 : Leh – Nubra Valley

After breakfast at the hotel leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08 : Nubra Valley – Leh

After breakfast visit the Diskit Monastery, Hundar and Sand Dunes. Enjoy double-humped camel safari. By evening return back to the hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09 : Leh – Onward

In the early morning our representative will transfer you to the Leh Airport where you’ll board flight back to your home / onward destination.
